Cristiano Ronaldo scored two goals and was the best player in today's La Liga match against Osasuna as Real Madrid won by three goals to two.

Ronaldo was terrific throughout and he grabbed the all-important winner in the dying minutes of the game to give Real Madrid all 3 points.

Osasuna started extremely brightly and took the lead on the 7th minute through Aranda. Raul Albiol made a terrible back pass and Aranda was quickest to react as he rounded Casillas and tapped the ball in.

Cristiano equalised on the 24th minute in style. He dribbled the ball rapidly and cut inside the defenders. Before they could react, Cristiano drilled a low shot into the bottom corner, leaving the Osasuna goalkeeper with no chance. It was a sublime Ronaldo goal and his 21st of the season.

The Hungarian Vadocz put the visitors ahead on the 42nd minute with a thunderous half volley. Real Madrid reacted quickly and equalised 2 minutes later from the head of Marcelo.

Cristiano Ronaldo was unsurprisingly the match-winner, scoring in the 88th minute. Gonzalo Higuain floated in a great cross to the far post, and Ronaldo headed the ball in the goal with ease. Real Madrid are still just a point behind leaders Barcelona with 3 games remaining.
