Real Madrid continued their impressive La Liga form by claiming another three points in an emphatic 5-1 victory away at Tenerife.
The deadlock was broken by Real Madrid's goalscoring dynamo Gonzalo Higuain. The Argentine was set up on the 28th minute by Marcelo, who made a great run forward. He played the ball in front of Higuain who from the edge of the area was clinical with his finish.
His second was equally as impressive on 41 minutes. Garay provided a great delivery in from the flank and Higuain rifled the ball with his first touch into the corner. It was another spectacular goal.
Ayoze pulled one back for Tenerife just after half time. Casillas seemed to have caught the ball, but Ayoze headed it from his hands and the goal was still given despite Real Madrid protests.
Kaka' scored just a minute later to serve some justice. He was put through on goal and struck a great low shot into the net.
On the 78th minute, a penalty was awarded for handball after some good work by Van der Vaart. Ronaldo stepped up and scored his 13th goal in La Liga.
Raul scored the final goal in injury time, dispatching a low Van der Vaart cross.
It was another impressive Madrid victory. Cristiano Ronaldo was not at his best, but luckily he didn't need to be.
