Manchester United winger Nani says that he has been in touch recently with Portugese teammate Cristiano Ronaldo who departed the club in the summer.

Nani, speaking to the Manchester Evening News, was high in praise of his countryman and friend Cristiano Ronaldo. He stated, "Cristiano is a good man and he has been very pleased for me".

"We speak a lot on the phone and we text each other. He was a great help for me when he was at United and now he's happy that things are going well for me at the moment."

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to return to action for Real Madrid this weekend as they take on Xerez.
