Cristiano Ronaldo could not stop Real Madrid slipping to a disappointing 0-0 draw at the hands of Osasuna.

Barcelona made an uncharacteristic slip up yesterday, only picking up a point against rivals Villareal. Real Madrid could have capitalised on that lapse with 3-points away at Osasuna, but instead, failed to capitalise on several opportunities on goal.

Gonzalo Higuain had several clear-cut chances, but failed to find the net. Cristiano Ronaldo had a quiet game, but made good use of the ball when he was in possession. He wasted a free-kick uncharacteristically and failed to see as much of the ball as he would have liked as the game petered out into a tepid draw.
