Cristiano Ronaldo is aiming to become the world's best player once again in 2010 after Lionel Messi stole his crown in 2009.

The extend of Cristiano's ambitions did not end there either. Ronaldo stated emphatically that he would like to go down as one of the world's greatest ever players.

Ronaldo told Marca, "I'm going to win the Ballon d'Or back, this year or next.

"I have an ambition to become the best player in history."

In other great news for Cristiano Ronaldo fans, Ronaldo stated that his ankle was now in good shape, "The ankle is fine and if not the Real Madrid doctors will see it right. I am sure I will not need an operation."
