It's Official: Cristiano Ronaldo Will Not Take Part in World Cup Qualifier

After all the speculation coming out of both the Portugal and Real Madrid camps, it has now been decided that Cristiano Ronaldo will take no part in Portugal's crucial upcoming World Cup qualifier against Bosnia.

The two games are set to take place on November the 14th and 18th, and Portugal had hoped Ronaldo would at least feature for a few minutes in both games.

Ronaldo returned to Lisbon to be inspected, despite Real Madrid insisting he was still injured, with the national side hopeful of a different scenario.

However, the Portugal football federation released a statement today corroborating Real Madrid's officials, "The player is not in good enough physical condition to train with the squad ahead of the play-offs."

Cristiano has been injured since playing against Marseille at the end of September and the national federation wish him a "good and rapid recovery".
