Real Madrid won another league game on Saturday against a poor Tenerife side as their impressive winning run continued.

Cristiano Ronaldo played from the start and was very lively throughout the game, before being withdrawn in the second half. It was the first La Liga game of this season that Cristiano has failed to score, but his team-mates stepped in to make this right.

Karim Benzema scored a terrific double to take his tally to three goals in the league this season, with Kaka' rounding off the match with a terrific long-range strike.

Cristiano Ronaldo had one very notable contribution, beating several men from the half-way line in a Lionel Messi-esque run, only to be denied by a fantastic save from the Tenerife goalkeeper.
