According to Real Madrid legend Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are good, but Franck Ribery is even better.

ESPN recently caught up with Zinedine Zidane to find out his opinion on the recent grand captures of Kaka' and Cristiano Ronaldo by Los Blancos. Zidane was full of praise for the new signings and was later quizzed about who was the best in the world.

He stated, "There are very good footballers in the world, like Cristiano Ronaldo or [Lionel] Messi, but the best for me is Ribery. I am not saying that because he is French, but because he is very good."

Zidane also criticised the media's branding of Madrid's 'Galacticos', saying "The president of Real want the best players for his team, but he should not call them galacticos. I remember that we were called galacticos when [David] Beckham, [Luis] Figo, Ronaldo and I were playing and the result was very negative. People should say they are the best and that is it."
