Luis Antonio Valencia has been signed by Manchester United from Wigan Athletic for a fee reported to be in the region of £16 million. Although Valencia is not in the same class as Ronaldo, Ferguson feels the Ecuadorian wide man will be able to contribute greatly to his new team.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have received the full £80 million payment for Cristiano Ronaldo and all that remains is for Ronaldo to be unveiled in white for his official presentation to the media on July 6th in the Santiago Bernabeu stadium.
